Google Play fee calculator for converted apps
Converting a shop into an app doesn't hand Google a cut of your orders. Selling digital content inside it might. See the difference in numbers.
The rule in one line
Physical goods and real-world services (shop orders, food, bookings, tickets) can be paid with any processor in a Play app — no Google fee. Digital goods and subscriptions used in the app (premium content, memberships, credits) generally go through Google Play Billing, which charges a service fee.
Fee model used here
Google's published model: 15% on subscriptions; 15% on the first $1M of yearly earnings for enrolled developers; 30% above that for one-time digital purchases. Regional programmes and alternative billing options can change the numbers, so treat the result as an estimate.
